Facebook, the place where you waste almost half of your day is the best social network available on the web currently. People always look out for Facebook Tricks to trick their friends. We always like to stand out and do something unique, don't you ? The first post by me on Techsnap was related to Facebook tricks since then, i've just posted about the new additions on Facebook and other things. Today i'm going to share with you some of the new tricks which i've come across in my day-to-day Facebook experience, i hope you'll like 'em.
1. Use Anyone's Facebook Profile Pic as a Smileys : Facebook Smileys always impress people to whom you're talking. Whenever i use something new, the person asks me "How did you do that ?", and my answer is " B) ". But today i'm sharing a cool and easy trick by which you can use anyone's profile pic as a smiley in your conversation. Just type [[username]] in the chatbox and hit ENTER.
EXAMPLE :
If https://www.facebook.com/sohambanker , you'll write [[sohambanker]] and if https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100xxxxxxx , then you'll write [[100xxxxxxx]] in the chat box.
2. Comment Anonymously Anyone's Name On Status Updates :
If you want to comment anonymously anyone's name on Facebook Status Updates, just type@[***:*] in the comment box and hit ENTER. You just have to replace the * with any number like, @[453:6] will be shown like this.
3. Download New Facebook Messenger App For Windows 7 :
Facebook recently rolled out it's official Messenger app for Windows which allows you to chatright from your desktop and even shows notifications pop-ups. It's a very simplified and good looking app. Personally i love using it, as it's interface is awesome. Download it from HERE.
4. Get New Facebook Timeline Now :
It's been a long time the new Facebook Timeline has been launched but now it's available publicly, you just need to go HERE and click on "Get Timeline" and you're done. If you've enabled it by creating the dummy app, you can delete that app to deactivate the timeline.
5. Use Facebook For Free Without Any Internet Plan/ How to Deactivate It :
It's the new Facebook By Fonetwish which allows you to use Facebook for free on your device without any data charges. Just dial *325# and follow the steps by logging in. It's interface is not good for normal mobile phones but it looks good on other touch, HTC and iPhones, as they have larger screens. If you want to deactivate it, simply dial *325*22# from your mobile device and you'll be unsubscribed from that service.
